A "learn to Artistic Swim" Program
The AquaGo! Program is a Nationally developed grassroots program that is an introduction to artistic (synchronized) swimming. This program provides an opportunity to learn about artistic swimming and focuses on the development of the four pillars or skills required for success in the sport of artistic swimming.

AquaGO! Recreational program benefits participants by:

-
Introducing new ways to move in and out of the water
-
Developing physical and aquatic literacy
-
Being accessible and inclusive – AquaGO! welcomes all abilities, skill levels and participants
-
Providing fitness and health benefits

The program runs once a week for 1 or 1.5 hours (Level 5/6) and is delivered as a seasonal program (Fall/Winter/Summer).

Provincial Competitive Program
If you think your sport is hard, try doing it while holding your breath.
Our Competitive program focuses on developing a well-rounded athlete. Our provincial program is designed to enhance basic skills in a fun and intense training environment. York Artistic Swimming Club has a variety of Provincial Teams - 10U, 11-12, Youth (13-15) and Juniors (16+) - who train in water, a minimum of three times per week – twice during the week, and one weekend day from September to June.
Our 10 & Under and 11-12 programs are ideally suited for those athletes who have come through our Recreational and/or Regional programs and are eager to start competing at the Provincial level within Ontario, provided the athlete has achieved a positive “Tryout” . Flexibility, strength training, and speed swimming are all part of regular training, in addition to training fundamental artistic swimming skills, figure development and routine training.
In 2021/22 we introduced an online training component, a minimum of 1 training day per week.
Provincial swimmers will participate in 3-5 mandatory competitions during the season.
In water training: Tuesdays/Thursdays/Sundays weekly, plus a minimum of 1 Saturday per month
Online training: Wednesdays

2024+ High Performance Option - We are excited to announce our new High Performance option to enhance our Provincial program for those athletes who want to train with the goal of competing at the National level.
